You know what your practice does, and you know how, but when was the last time you thought about whyBelieve it or not, it’s what your patients care about most.

As Simon Sinek shows in this TED Talk, “People don’t buy what you do—they buy why you do it.”

Define expectationsIf your patients can sense, identify and connect with the why—they will be more likely to feel enthusiastic, be loyal and send referrals. They’ll be less likely to be grumpy and put up bad reviews, even on days they might have to wait a long time. When they know you are doing what you are passionate about, most people will be more flexible and understanding.

You don’t do it for money. Money is a result. You do it because of something deeper. Something more personal.

  • Maybe you’re an orthodontist who lacked confidence as a child because of your smile.
  • Maybe you’re an orthopedic surgeon because a family member suffered from a painful injury.
  • Maybe you’re super passionate about stints because they save lives!

The reason is different for every doctor, but it’s extremely important.

Why are you truly passionate about what you do?

At Virginia Creative Group, we encourage you to think about WHY.

Don’t be afraid to get personal. The more personal, the more universal!

Curious about our why? Our passion is serving others. We were put on this earth to serve…and we help practices grow because they are also serving others. Our ideal clients are truly servants at heart, like us. When we come together, we are like a duck in water.

Ready to share your why so patients can connect? We can help.
