Our team recently got together for our first annual retreat. It was a wonderful weekend of learning, goal setting, and getting to know one another. Let us not forget to mention, we also had tons of fun creating memories as a team!
Among many other things, during our retreat, we discussed and planned a lot. Some of the topics we covered included:
- Strategic planning
- Discussion of how to streamline processes
- Team building
- Problem-solving
- Development of goals and objectives
By pausing our daily operations and taking some uninterrupted time to cultivate team cohesion and to reflect on changes needed to handle current business and market conditions, we are acting best interests of both our clients and our team.
We feel extremely lucky to be part of an amazing team. We believe it is important that each team member feels a strong connection with the company’s vision and purpose. Our connections with co-workers and a belief in the impact the team aspires to make in the community are what drive us forward. There is a lot of work behind the scenes to obtain and sustain vision cohesion, but the team at VCG sure is on top of it!
We spent a lot of time in the conference room at the beautiful office of Parks Orthodontics. They were so gracious to allow us to use their space, and they even treated us to a delicious lunch provided by Atlantis Patios! We have the best clients ever!
We are glad to say that our first annual team retreat was a true success, and we look forward to growing over the next year!
