Are marketing ideas at your practice plentiful? Try this not that text on a black background, representing new marketing ideas

At most medical practices, the team members have lots of ideas:

Let’s make a Tiktok! (This is a big one lately.)

Let’s start an Instagram campaign!

Let’s make a YouTube video!

Let’s do a new event!

These ideas usually start with tons of excitement.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re SMART ideas for your medical practice. (And just because another practice is doing it, doesn’t mean you need to do it!)

The people in your practice may come to you with new marketing ideas, but before you embark, ask:

  1. Are these ideas just a distraction from what this person really should be doing?
  2. Is this for personal fun — or business benefit?
  3. Is this in line with our current marketing strategy?
  4. Is this platform and the content created in line with my practice’s mission and values?
  5. Is this an authentic fit for the personality of my doctor?
  6. Is this initiative relevant to our target patient audience?
  7. Is this platform / location where our audience actually is spending time?
  8. Will this effort benefit us in some measurable way?
  9. Will I give this team member the time, budget and support to do this?
  10. Are we committed to consistent implementation

The answer to all of these questions should be YES before you begin a new marketing effort.

If you need:

Someone to define a baseline marketing plan that will actually work…
